Lynwater Bouncer of Spinneyhill x Delindere Minervois JW 'Sophie' was only ever shown as a youngster. She was a Crufts qualifier and achieved some Best Puppy & Best of Breed awards. After her first season she suffered a dramatic loss of coat often associated with this light blue colour. She was therefore mated on her second season and produced a litter of seven. A very colourful litter; 1 blue roan, 3 orange roans, 2 choc roans and 1 choc & white. This litter proved to be very traumatic for Sophie as she had to have a c-section. Part of her womb was like tissue paper making it impossible for her to have 'proper' contractions. Unfortunately we lost 2 pups but the other 5 thrived once Sophie had recovered from the anesthetic. I retained the choc & white bitch (Lily) so I could continue with these lines. Sophie was placed in a family home after this, with a young black & tan bitch for company.
