Paisley's Dreammaker for Claramand (imp swe) x Claramand Thriller Queen for Delindere 'Phoebe' pictured at eight months and two years was only lightly shown as she never seemed to be able to concentrate enough to walk in a straight line! She did manage to collect some Best Puppy & Best of Breeds etc., at open shows, in good company and won her class at the Cocker Club's annual Championship show. The highlite of Phoebe's short time at Delindere was when I was approached by a very highly respected animal trainer looking for a Gold cocker in show trim to appear in a dog food advert. She had just 10 days to 'teach' Phoebe her role - which included eating dog food!! as well as 'sit', 'stay' 'wait' and 'send away' - all commands alien to a show dog. However, she did not let any of us down and learnt her role with days to spare and 'performed' perfectly 'on set'. She is pictured below during one of her training sessions: After her litter Phoebe joined 'Frankie' on the Isle of Wight to enjoy a life of 'sun, sea & sand' plus, their favorite pastime, of chasing rabbits on the downs!
