The home of Delindere
Cockers is situated in the Leicestershire village of Barwell, midway between
Leicester and Coventry, England.
Together with my
husband Jim we have owned Cockers, or should I say that Cockers have owned us
for over 25 years. It was in 1979 that we purchased our first cocker, a
Black and White dog that we called Gyp. He showed us the love and devotion
that only a Cocker can.
We were talked into
showing Gyp a short time later and that was when the showing bug bit. Shortly after came Sherry our first Orange Roan and the mother of our first
litter of pups. Since then quite a few Cockers have come and gone, each a
favorite in their own way.
In 1991 we acquired
our first American Cocker a Red and White called Cassie. Cassie taught us
very quickly that the American Cocker was quite a different, though just as
loveable, breed.
